I'm Paul Nieves, an FPGA Engineer at Collins Aerospace and a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I earned both a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Systems Design. My background spans digital hardware, embedded systems, and software engineering, with professional experience delivering production tools and automation solutions.
I am currently seeking a Software Engineering role where I can apply my strong programming skills, systems-level perspective, and experience bridging hardware and software. With hands-on experience ranging from FPGA development and low-level systems design to modern application development and infrastructure, I bring a unique, practical approach to solving complex engineering problems.
